Outstanding staff, poor food

Anywhere, anytime when we met employees, they always smiled at us and said hello; that was the first time on our 17 cruises on 6 differents cruise lines on the past 6 years that we encountered such kindness.

It was the first time we booked a suite #6331 and the balcony worth the difference in price. Of course the cabin itself is much larger.

Quality and selection of food was poor, first gala night, we took roastbeef and it came in with ''corn on the cob'' burned and tiny potato, One of ours was 75% fat. All 6 of us could not believe what they served us. Another evening tuna was hard as rubber. And don't try to go on 9th. floor buffet after 6pm, it is closed. There is only a pizza and dessert bar open but it cost you $8.00

This was our worst experience ar sea.

Ship Quality
Nice and clean
Food and Dining
Beef quality was poor, 75% fat in many cases, tuna hard as rubber, no buffet open on 9th. floor after 6pm.
Cabin / Stateroom
Oversised aft balcony,
Service and Staff
Cabin attendant Dhonna and our dining room waiter Herri did a great job with smile
Very good shows at the theatre and cruise director Ciro spoke 5 language every night.
Destinations and Excursions
7 ports were ok, but they could easily skip Freeport as there is nothing to see and do.
Miami, Florida
We live in this suburb...
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
Commercial port too far from the city (10 Miles) small boutiques by the ship.
Nassau, Bahamas
Yoo much tourist trap boutiques on the first 4 blocks.
Samana, Dominican Republic
Took a ''tuk-tuk'' taxi to get to Cayennas Del Mar beach, which we see from the ship, about 20 minutes away from the dock. Quiet area.
Road Town, Tortola, B.V.I.
Went to Cane Garden Bay, spectacular views from top of the mountains, $16.00 p/p roundtrip
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
5th. time there, so we went to Maho Beach, where the planes fly 50 feet above your head, beside this, overcrowed, no place to sit and 12 feet waves...
St. John's, Antigua
Turner beach is great ($15.00 p/p roundtrip taxi), local market on the way back close to the port stinks.
Basseterre, St. Kitts
Disappointed last year with island tour so we went to Cockelshell Beach...AH. PARADISE. ($16.00 p/p roundtrip taxi)
Pointe-A-Pitre, Guadeloupe
All stores closed on sunday (even McDo). Ste-Anne beach is great but crowed. ($15.00 p/p roundtrip). Some kiosk at the exit of the ship but you better bargain with them, ex : frig. magnet at $5.00. got it for $2.00 next counter...
