Good ship, but almost TOO big; too many people. I liked the Atlantica better, and Atlantica's decor seemed nicer too. Sometimes it was difficult to maneuver around the ship (had to go up or down a level, then back, to get to a location which was actually on the level you were already on)

It was a fun cruise. The shows were fantastic. Nice pools. Food was very good, but not the best I've had on a cruise. The casino was very nice.

Having never sailed on Costa, we were really worried about the food selections since we are not fancy eaters. We were worried for nothing! The ship was beautiful and spacious. Maybe too spacious, it took us days to figure out the best way to get from point a to point b on board. But by mid week it was a breeze. The crew was great and I would have to say that of all of the cruises I have taken over the years ( 9 cruises ) this one was the most liveliest!

This was the first time that we cruised with Costa Cruise. The Majecia was beautiful. The ammenities were great. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. It would have been nice to have other food options seemed to be much of the same things.

Very clean ship. I loved not being pressured for fancy drinks or anything the whole week. Very laid back. Itinerary was great and food was good.

Balcony room was great at night with the door open. Liked the intinerary and ship was very clean. Liked the back adult pool area the best - - quiet and relaxing.

Overall we really enjoyed the cruise. This was our 3rd time with Costa, 1st on the Magica. Although we prefer the Mediteranea, this ship was also beautiful & very elegant. The food was fabulous (mostly Italian specialties - which we love!) The staff was so friendly with us and the kids. I would also say that 4 out of the 5 shows were really good & kid friendly. We were very happy once again!

Loved the layout of this ship - very easy to get around...deck layout, by the pool especially, in tiers, for sunbathing, was very nice.

I have sailed on two other Costa cruise ships and this was my least favorite. The ship seemd cramped, especially the 5th floor by the casino. On no other ship have I felt that there were so many passengers on board. The food was so-so. The part of the cruise I loved was the entertainment. The ship really outdid itself.

The dining room service was poor; it took 3 hours to get out of dinner, and we were the last people in the room each night. A waiter spilled a drink on me and just kept going with no acknowledgement at all. When we asked for a table switch, we had to go to customer service 3 days in a row before they would accommodate us, and their attitude was poor. In fact, the waiter admonished us for saying anything about him. The food was very salty and of lesser quality than we have had on other ships.

POSITIVE: Ship was cleanest I have ever experienced. Staff was great across the board. Food was hit or miss but the good dishes were really excellent. Nightly shows were a cut above anything I have ever seen on a cruise ship. Very large staterooms with large bathrooms and great storage. NEGATIVE: Mega-ship is too big and too crowded when sailing at capacity. Odd design makes this worse, because many decks do not allow access from one end to the other.

The ship was nicely decorated. It was quite beautiful and very updated. It was nice that the ship was fairly new - only 2 years old.

This was my first cruise and I absolutely loved it. It was great. I would certainly come back.

Customer service made an error on registring our credit cards and they wait until it was time to leave the ship to let us know,when I requested to be fix they said it was to late.There response was try to fix that when you get home.

It is a very large ship and it would hve been much nicer if there was a layout of the ship large enough to read available but one was not. Perhaps the elevator could have a list of what is on each floor.

Overall, the ship was beautiful. It was clean, amenities were good, the cruise staff was great fun. Food was excellent.

The ship was very crowded, with little space alloted to public areas. The food was tasteless. The crew didn't seem to care about anything, The ship was very unstable, and we've cruised at least 20 times, even in the outter bands of a huricane.
