Excellent cruise experience

There is nothing to see at the cruise dock. Instead of going on an excursion, we took a bus to Altos de Chavon. While there is some good scenery, there was very little activity there. Might as well just stay on the ship unless you go on an excursion to the beach.

We didn't spend a long time in San Juan, and the shops closed relatively early. For us, it was mainly doing some shopping. We have been to San Juan in the past, so it wasn't a big deal.

We went on the Windsong snorkeling cruise. The snorkling was not that great, but the sail out was fun, and we had more than enough rum punch on the way back. We only went shopping at the cruise dock, which is okay.

We went on the "Ultimate Snorkling Adventure." It was far from ultimate. We might as well have just walked down the beach and gone swimming. We didn't go into town. The cruise port contains a few shops and the Margaritaville. The beach was nice but very hot.

Pros: The ship was clean and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the entertainment was generally very good.

Cons: One of the attractions of this cruise was a couple of new ports of call-Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic and Grand Turk. Neither was very exciting.
