Review summary

Having never sailed on Costa, we were really worried about the food selections since we are not fancy eaters. We were worried for nothing! The ship was beautiful and spacious. Maybe too spacious, it took us days to figure out the best way to get from point a to point b on board. But by mid week it was a breeze. The crew was great and I would have to say that of all of the cruises I have taken over the years ( 9 cruises ) this one was the most liveliest!

Ports of call

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Jamaica was our least favorite port. If you have done Dunn's River Falls then there is not much else to see. I got off the ship and made the long walk to the shopping area and was constantly harrased for money or for someone to take me somewhere.
Don't Miss: If you have't seen or done the Falls then you need to go!

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Cozumel is always a good time! Been there several times and we were lucky to dock at the pier right in town so it saved time and a cab ride. Shopping is great and don't miss the chance to eat some authentic Mexican food at one of the cute little Mexican eateries.
Don't Miss: taking in some of the local flavor by strolling along the shops and gazing upon the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

George Town, Grand Cayman

3 out of 5
Good shopping and beautiful beaches. Only bad thing is this port has no dock so all the ships have to tender. And there was 7 huge ships in port so it was quite congestive both on the water in the tenders and in town. Definitely required a lot of patience that day!
Don't Miss: Beautiful beaches.

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
Grand Turk was wonderful. We were too late to book any tour, but Carnival spent millions and built a port for cruise ships that had a private beach with cabanas, a huge pool and I mean huge! And a quaint little village for shopping. And there was a Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville so we spent the afternoon laying by the pool, sipping some drinks and listening to the music. Oh and we did a little shopping too!
Don't Miss: Having a good time and it is one of the few times on the cruise where there is actually enough lounges to lay on for everyone!!!!

Pros: Beautiful ship, Food, Entertainment

Cons: layout of the ship, everything seemed crowded
