Review summary

Overall we really enjoyed the cruise. This was our 3rd time with Costa, 1st on the Magica. Although we prefer the Mediteranea, this ship was also beautiful & very elegant. The food was fabulous (mostly Italian specialties - which we love!) The staff was so friendly with us and the kids. I would also say that 4 out of the 5 shows were really good & kid friendly. We were very happy once again!

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Definately not much to do. There is an old hotel/casino where you get off the ship (the boat casino is much better). Then there is a Carlos n Charlies and that's it. We did a quick carriage ride and returned to the boat
Don't Miss: ??

Casa De Campo, Dominican Republic

Where you dock they advise you not to walk around & don't leave alone. You must use their transportation to go anywhere. Isn't that enough to not want to visit.

Grand Turk Island

Very pretty shops and beach. The water was so clear except for a lot of seaweed.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Shopping is really nice here. Last trip we visited Maegan's Bay Beach - that is definately a waste of time. The beach was crowded and rocky & you pay to get in to
