I didn't care so much for the decor and things looked a little shabby as well.

Just wander around the city, go up to the top of the hill, great vistas.

Unfortunately we were here on Easter Sunday and some things were closed. See the Gaudi Temple (Sacred Family) and any other Gaudi buildings you can.

We were here on good Friday and not much was open. I wanted to take the cable car but........

Took the trip to Fes. It was a long ride, but an interesting experience, right out of a Harrison Ford movie. Loved the lunch.

Take the bus to Seville. The bus station was next to the port. In Seville go to the big Moorish castle.

The Moorish castle ruins were great and cheap.

The jeep trip to Sintra was interesting.

Pros: the food was fabulous

Cons: no information for people not going on ship excursions
