Review summary
The cruise line was terrible in the way we and other guests were treated. Tours were arbitrarily canceled, important information for passengers was not clearly presented and the attitude of those at the management level was condescending and unappreciated. The communication skills of middle management was below our expectations. The overall entertainment quality on board ship was mediocre at best. However, the efforts of the wait staff and cabin attendants were very much appreciated.

Oh my! Just as I was thinking about returned to the Costa Line for another cruise, I read your review. I had been on Costa many years ago and the food was so not Italian that I promised myself never to go on one of their ships again. Maybe I will wait a little longer still. Poor customer service can never be acceptable. We didn't run into that - just bad Italian. For example they placed American Cheese on top of Egglplant and it wasn't even melted at that. .
