Review summary

We had a fabulous time on this cruise, despite the problems that did arise. The crew and fellow passengers were great. Missing ports, running out of lettuce on our 7 days at sea between Guam and Honolulu were small annoyances compared to the fun we had on board and in port. The internet problems were the worst part of the trip, but the agent on duty did his best to remain patient and helpful. Give that guy a raise - he took a lot of abuse.

trivia, sudoku, basketball competition, bean bag toss, paper airplane, elevator roulette, etc.. Would have done more, but there were many schedule conflicts especially for late seating diners. And noone ever publicly announced winners of any competitions except trivia.

Production shows were excellent, but there were not enough of them in 60 days. Other shows featuring mostly singers, were mediocre.

Internet access was TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NON-EXISTENT AND FRUSTRATING. Used more than half of our internet minutes trying to get on line.

Bad weather - we went right to Yokohama from Alaska.

Spent 3 days in this port with little or no information from the Bridge. On the second day, at anchor in the harbor, the captain came on the PA system at 12 noon to tells us why we had not sailed for Osaka. Until then we had no idea why we were still in Yokohama. Very poor communication from the Bridge.
