Review summary
My wife and I took this cruise at the last minute yet you would never have known if from the accommodations, courtesy and enjoyment we received. Sitting in the "private" sanctuary area during the glacier bay viewing was particularly incredible. Watching breathtaking glaciers in complete comfort and relaxation, snuggled up on thick cushions on lounge chairs with comfortable blankets, our own pool and a very accommodating wait staff serving the two dozen or so located in the area. Worth every cent of the extra cost. Also, the upgraded restaurants were well worth the additional cost, although the food at the regular restaurant was great. And the scenery is absolutely unparalled. It comes at you from every direction.. If I had to pick out something I was not fond of, it would be the photos and their pricing. They need to have a means in which you can just request a copy of all of the photos, even if it is just on disc. At the high price of each of the photos with no discount for additional prints, the price becomes very unreasonable and forces you to pick only one or two of the ones you may want. Why not provide a package where, if you purchase 2 or 3 (what most people do) they throw in a CD of all of your photos at a nominal cost. There should be some way to do that. Anyway, that decision was optional and no one pushed you to purchase any photos, so it is hard to call that a valid complaint. Bottom line, my wife and I would go again in a heartbeat.
