Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The waiters were watching always. They came right away and attended to our every need. The room steward kept things very tidy and the bed was made twice a day!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The whole ship was very clean and well kept constantly. I thought the layout was great once we figured out where things were.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was clean and comfortable. It was larger than some hotel rooms we have stayed in. It was well laid out. We loved that our porthole window was nice and large. The metal could have used some cleaning though and we would have loved to be able to clean the outside of the glass.

Ship tip

Get the beverage package and wifi. You need the wifi to keep up on what's going on in the ship.

We went to the Sea life center and to the Exit Glacier on our own before boarding ship. they were great!

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

Nice view of this glacier. Too bad we couldn't have gotten closer.

Juneau, Alaska

We had a bus ride through town with the driver telling us about the different buildings and such on the way to the park where the glacier was. There was plenty of time to walk up to where we could look at the glacier. I would recommend taking binoculars.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
We took the Skagway, White Pass Summit tour through booking.com. We went into the Yukon had a nice meal and got to ride behind some sled dogs and pet them and their puppies! It was awesome! Beautiful drive to Carcross Canada.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

5 out of 5
The gondola was nice. It would've been better if the whole valley hadn't been covered up by fog. But the ride was fun. The best part was we took the whale watching tour through the cruise line, and we saw lots and lots of humpback whales! We get to see them spout and see their tails.

Ketchikan, Alaska

We took the Saxman village in Ketchikan city tour from booking.com. Unfortunately, it was pouring down rain the entire time. We couldn't keep the windows on the bus from fogging up long enough to see anything. Also, when we were taken to see where the totem poles were made, we weren't allowed to go in because the We took the Saxman village in Ketchikan city tour. Unfortunately it was pouring down rain the entire time. Also when we were taken to see were totem poles were made by an expert craftsmen we weren't allowed to go in because the cruise was not connected with the cruise tour was not connected with the cruise line. We were taken inside of the building to get a 15 minute lecture about totem poles and art of the region. That was kind of nice. On the whole the tour was a waste of money and we wished we had gone with the tour from the ship. We would have walked around town as it looked interesting but it was raining so hard.

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

5 out of 5
We didn't get off the ship. This was not a port. We did enjoy beautiful views from the dining aria and later in the pool aria and the Jacuzzi while listing to music being played live.

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

We didn't take an excursion but we did go visit the Steam clock in the Gastown park and enjoyed listing to street musicians, eating great food and people watching.
