Review summary

Idk if I would do Celebeity again because everything closes so early and the entertainment wasn’t spectacular nor were the venues.

Embarkation

Honestly the Canada Place Cruise Terminal was extremely confusing. Had to walk back and forth the lines and places we already walked through multiple times. The staff were not very friendly. We waited forever in very close and uncomfortable chairs before we were allowed to board. Once on the ship we went to our muster station but it wasn’t where they said it would be.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The MDR was as expected: mediocre at best. All RCCL MDR’s are lackluster now. Same low quality cheap food with no flavor or seasonings. Luckily we bought 3 night dining package which helped. However none of the specialty dining experiences were phenomenal either. Izumi is weird and awful. The Italian place could’ve been better. Qsine was annoying having to wait for everyone else (slow eaters) to finish their course before anybody could move on. Buffet was okay.

Onboard Activities

This was the worst part of the entire cruise. Everything was closed by 11 pm. ONE bar may stay open until 1 or 2 am IF people are actively there, but the bartenders told us in multiple occasions if there’s ever a moment that the bar empties they shut it down. There were multiple nights we were walking around at 11:30 pm / midnight and not a single thing was open, and many other people were walking around flabbergasted as to how there’s nothing happening on the ship, not even the night club was open. The show were… ok. Entertainment was pretty good.

The staff was pretty great.

Ship Quality

I was skeptical of an older ship but it was very nice

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The cabin is tiny. Two of us struggled to navigate around each other and keep our belongings organized in our balcony cabin.

Ship tip

Sunset bar is nice

I ended up catching norovirus and disembarkation was awful. No communication.
