Review summary

Overall a very enjoyable cruise! Sailing from San Juan reduces the At-Sea days for southern island ports-o-call.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Enjoyed the 70's and general trivia.

Entertainment

Went to only 3 shows. "All McCartney" was great!

Cabin / Stateroom

The deck is huge! Views off both the stearn and port side. The slider between the two rooms gives privacy and quiet. Above average floor and storage space. Noise from the churning water isn't disturbing.

Ship tip

The Celebrity ap is great... when it works. 2 out of 3 in our group gave up on trying to get theirs to work. For a specialty restaurant, I'd recommend Qsine. It's a fun experience with good food.

Ports of call

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
Always enjoy St. Martin.

St. George's, Grenada

5 out of 5
Views from Fort George are a must-see.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
Because I've been there many times, we didn't go downtown to shop.

Bridgetown, Barbados

5 out of 5

Roseau, Dominica

5 out of 5
Dominica is rebuilding from Irma and Maria hurricane damage, slowly.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It was not clear to us what the difference was between the two lines ("Passport Ready" or not) after we picked up our luggage.

Traveler Photos

View from the "Welcome gate". Tour of the island. Crossing to the French side of the island. Mero Beach. Mt. Gay Rum tour. Beautiful beaches on Barbados! This one is on the West side. Darling children celebrating their Independence Day.

Motion was a pre-cruise concern for us, too, because it was the first cruise for two of my roommates. In the end, motion was not a problem at all. I've been midship and forward in the past and didn't notice any difference. It might've been because the seas we're relatively calm the week of our sailing.

So glad you enjoyed.

Did you notice much motion in your cabin? We are booked on Deck 8, just above you in the last regular veranda. Trying to decide if we should reconsider the location.
