From soup to nuts a great trip. Thanks to Celebrity, for another great vacation . I'm sorry I went in the ocean with my phone without cloud backup and lost a ton of great photos. Tip: androids don't swim. Any questions just contact me some way.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Arrived at the ship at 1030, straight from the airport. We were 20ish in line. They were organized and embarkation was over in 10 minutes for us. I didn't hear anyone that had an issue on this day.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food on Celebrity is always good. We were in the main dining room each night, open seating. We did make a res for the next night as we left each day. We dined in the queens chairs most nights and did not really dine with anyone that we met aboard. Our wait staff and sommelier were superb each night. We waited for a free table in their area to enjoy the service.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Pools were as they are on all ships. Empty seats with towels for hours. We really didn't have any issue here, but did hear grumbling. This may never change unless passengers take their old towels when they leave and visit their chairs once in awhile. When it was crowded we just got in the pools. Not an issue for us.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Shows were all excellent. A little less visibility of the main cast of singers and dancers than I remember on past RCCL and Celebrity ships.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The only thing that was not to the norm of ALL excellent service was the loyalty ambassador. Maybe we missed her showings but I had to search her out on day 6 to meet her.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Oldie but a goodie. Makes me miss Century a lot.
Cabin / Stateroom

Well kept, clean and steward was attentive, but ICE seemed to be on a request only. Wasn't used fo that after day one or two.
Ship tip
Always ask your waiters for something different or for more. Celebrity food has always outshined the other ships. And approach the ships officers they are very friendly and accommodating.
We had some good trips on this trip but this by far was the crown jewel. We did not book with the ship we just showed up at the cab depot. We were cattled off with a dozen others to a van. Not knowing what to expect we just bartered a fare cost of 30$ each. Many paid more... I would have paid triple for what we received. Tipped the driver accordingly. He took us for 4 hours all through the island. He was very interesting and entertaining. We saw the rain forest, waterfalls, military forts, and a history of the battle in Grenada in 1985. He stopped and was quite respectful of a painted wall with thanks to 82nd airborne and the US. Highlight for me for certain. Nice countryside with spectacular views.
Kind of a bust from our plans. We tried to enter the Sandals resort after calling from the states and inquiring how to do so. We took a 25 minute cab ride there. Our driver went above and beyond my threshold of patience trying to convince the security staff to allow us entry. I understood cuz.. in their dialogue, but no go. For no extra charge, he stopped at Hilton Vaca Club and for $80 each we got a one day pass and we enjoyed the beach, one drink each and a lunch sandwich. All good. Super nice restrooms for island life. We stayed 5 hours and he also came back for us. Food is pricey, but good, and a la Carte, Tiki style. We've since joined HVC just in case.
Wonderful guided walking/van tour of their town and culture. Spectacular views from the top of the hill. "Scattered" showers as advertised and promised fell through the day. Would do this again on a future visit. Still recovering from hurricanes.
Great port stop. It was still recovering from hurricane damage, the beach was fine. We took a cab to the beach, its worth the 4$ we negotiated. Cabs back are a bit harder leave early or coordinate round trip with a van.
Been here lots, always do the Airport in a cab and then drop off in town on the way back. We are at the Hard Rock Cafe....eh. great view just not up to US standard. Alfred the cab Driver actually returned to the Airport to take us back to town. He was on time to the minute and couldnt have been any nicer.
Didn't see the port on this itinerary. Flights were too tight. Seen it before and Old San Juan is great. Walk, Segway, cab, its all fun. Everything is close when you visit San Juan as a stop, not embark itinerary.
