After having cruised dozens of times, we felt that we were missing something by not having tried " modern Luxury" on Celebrity Summit.

Our 7 day cruise out of San Juan aboard Summit was quite a disappointment. We were accustomed to a certain degree of entertainment and quality of service aboard a cruise ship. However Celebrity was a severe downgrade. From the lack of entertainment to the substandard overall food quality, Celebrity is far from Luxury. We have had much better luxury on our several Carnival Cruises and Carnival allowed our choice of being actively entertained or quite in a private serenity area. Anyone considering Celebrity Summit we say don't do it. Save some money and have a much better experience: Cruise Carnival !!!

Cabin / Stateroom
smelled like urine for first day. Overall old and dirty . Moldy carpet. Rusty balcony.
Embarkation and Disembarkation

don't waste money on concierge class room. You will never see your concierge unless you chase one down on your own. Limit your ship time as much as possible by choosing multiple ports of call
