First Class All The Way

Sail Date: April 11, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

This was our first cruise on Celebrity, but it won't be our last:  the staff was proactive and fun and the food was extraordinary.  Everything about the cruise felt more personal and intimate than our experiences on Royal Caribbean (which we also recommend highly).  We never felt like we were waiting in a line or crowded. From embarkation to debarkation processes were smooth and easy. The ship was beautiful, our room (Sky Suite) was spacious for two people.  We loved the new Suite dining option at Luminae and the specialty dining restaurant Qsine was off the charts.  We've already booked for next year!

Ship Quality
We missed having the open Prommonade deck, but enjoyed the boutique feel
Food and Dining
Luminae was an intimate update to main dining
Service and Staff
Very fun and quickly learned and honored our preferences (I hate mayo, my husband prefers Perrier, etc)
Entertainment We did not take advantage of the entertainment
Children's Programs NA
Onboard Activities
We were as busy as we chose to be!
Destinations and Excursions
Lots of variety in excursions
Cabin / Stateroom
Loved the opportunity to have white tablecloth room service on our deck. It was heaven!
San Juan, Puerto Rico
The airport is crazy crowded. If you can come a little early and stay a few days after your cruise its worth it!
Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.
Catamaran - Jolly Mon
Basseterre, St. Kitts
Beach day!
Roseau, Dominica
Hilly, hilly drive -- got car sick ... but the falls are beautiful
St. George's, Grenada
Hiked to Seven Sisters waterfall -- strenuous hike, but great pay off
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Shopping

Tip

In St Croix, check out the catamaran excursion on the Jolly Mon -- the ship and beach were fun, but the crew took the experience over the top!
