Review summary
Being an avid cruiser, I can say this was a very relaxing cruise. There was not much in the way of entertainment on the pool deck. The food was not bad. There were no theme nights in the main dining room. We had a suite on deck 7 mid ship with a veranda. Very small compared to other veranda suites we have had on other cruise lines. The insuite icebox was not cold. When we checked into our cabin, there were no bath towels available. We were told they were being washed. Fresh towels were available about 6 hours later.
The port tours were not bad but you get what you pay for. We pre booked a tour ((rail and sail) in St Kitts and it was worth the money. If you want to wait and get to the pier to tour in a van, good luck. We overheard a van driver tell a prospective customer that there was no airconditioning in his van! Now my main vent...why outside of the included island stops do they call it a Caribbean cruise. There is no Caribbean art displayed on the ship; there was no Caribbean theme night during the cruise; the stage and lounge shows (one small latin band in a lounge) did not have any Caribbean themes or dancers and singers of Afro color. There was the typical elvis, dance fever and Caucasian presentations. Call it what you will but Celebrity needs to upgrade its crew to include Caribbean presentation.
