Review summary

Celebrity never fails to deliver!  Fantastic service, superb food in all venues and a nice itinerary make for a great cruise!!  There was a brunch buffet on Thxgiving day.  THE best brunch I've ever been to anywhere!  Too many things to describe about that.  At the pool they had multiple chaise lounge" beds" (I actually thought about sleeping on one all night...)  and in the morning and at night they would play great music from 2 story speakers!  The Persian Garden is so nice and well worth $99 for all week access.  I've been on other Celebrity boats and knew I was going to use this all week.  5 different self serve spa like items to use from 8am to 10pm (a turkish bath, dry heat sauna with molded heated tile seats, an herbal infused steam room, light therapy showers and a main area with warmed/heated molded ceramic seats, soothing music, locker rooms with showers etc.) You can't get to it but through one door and you have to have access.  This feature on celebrity ships is one of the reasons I love cruising with them.  You don't have to spend over $100 for a short spa service and then it's over.  You can pay a one time fee and use this private area as much as you want to.

The food is great in both the main dining room and in the buffets.  Quality of food has not been matched by any other cruise line I've been on out of 6 different cruise ship companies.   The common areas are very elegant, updated F.Sinatra-ish in feel.  There is always cleaning going on so you know the ship is well taken care of.  Very attentive staff in every aspect of the ship.  Oh, the Solarium area of the ship, I love.  It's away from the main pool area with all the typical fun activities.  It's quiet, teak wood everywhere in their lounge chairs on both sides, the thelossotherapy pool is great!  The 2 jacuzzi's are hotter than the 4 at the main pools area.  The thelossotherapy pool itself is neat in that on each side are molded seats with rollers and jets, each corner has high volume water that comes down in a stream to stand under to get a great message like feel on your shoulders, the pool also has a wave action to it a little bit as well.  In the Solarium area also has a healthy and light lunch and snack area.  Fresh yogurt paraits made for you, salads etc. High ceilings in glass, huge sculptures etc.  That area is where I went to when the main pool area had too much noise for me.  The back of the boat had a nice bar area just outside the buffet food area, all in wood, with a nice live one person musician playing, lots of wooden tables to have a sunset drink at or to eat your lunch or dinner if you wanted to.  Sun and shade areas.

This is my 3rd time on Celebrity and it will not be my last!  If you are NOT looking for belly flop contests, a ton of people on a boat with a lot of action oriented on boat "stuff" and ARE LOOKING for upscale elegance with great amenities, service and a more refined, quieter feel while you are cruising, Celebrity is for you!!  I have an older teenager and he loved the Sr. teen club and when he was younger he loved the young teen club on another Celebrity boat as well.  I just can't say enough good things about Celebrity, from top to bottom.  You won't be dissapointed!

Ship tip

Don't miss breakfast at least once in the main dinning room. The Persian Garden is a must. Catch the sunsets from the Mast Bar on the back of the ship. Café Al Bacio for complimentary sweet treats - almond croissants to die for, and specialty coffees and wine bar as well!!!
