Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Blu had amazing food and service as well as Tuscan Grille. The buffet and Grand Epernay had good selections

Blu Restaurant

5 out of 5

The food was amazing, there was not a dish served that I did not enjoy. The service was even more incredible. A simply amazing staff of waiters. Our regular waiters knew our entire party’s names (all 14 of us!) and what we liked. Ryann performed magic tricks for our enjoyment. One night we dined at Luminae and I can gladly say that most of our party enjoyed blu as a whole more. A wonderful dining experience.

Quasar

5 out of 5

A great space! The bar tenders were great and the silent disco was so much fun when it was held there. Karaoke was also incredibly fun. I feel like the space isn’t as well utilized as it should be. It’s a great venue for dancing and partying!

Cafe al Bacio and Gelateria

5 out of 5

This was the place where my family would joke about always being able to find me. All of the waiters were very friendly and accommodating! The treats and pastries were divine, especially the chocolate tarts. All of the coffee drinks and selections put starbucks to shame. A favorite was the cafe shakerato! This was my favorite area on the ship.

Onboard Activities

Karaoke and silent disco in the quasar were very enjoyable. The quasar is a wonderful space for discos and parties- it should be utilized more. The grand foyer was not ideal for discos and dancing- it felt too exposed. The water coloring activity was very fun and it would be enjoyable to have more art opportunities.

Solarium

5 out of 5

The area looks very impressive and the hot tubs were very enjoyable

Entertainment

The DJ could have played better selections.

Card Room

1 out of 5

The area was great but the game selection was very disappointing. There were 20+ checkers boards and not one deck of uno or even regular cards. Thank goodness we brought our own card decks.

Grand Foyer

2 out of 5

The foyer was beautiful however the events held in the foyer were not good for the venue. Discos and dancing felt very exposed (as two floors of people can watch from above). The silent discos and parties held in the quasar were MUCH more enjoyable.

Persian Garden

Very relaxing and a much needed quiet place. The aromatherapy room smelled too strongly- it even made my eyes water...

The venue was very very small. It didn’t look like the pictures from the website either? The website said there was also a special coffee bar there just for teens. There was some sort of drink counter but no

The service in blu was amazing. The waiters knew our names and even showed us magic tricks every night. Very impressed with the team. The room steward was also very personable and helpful.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very clean and comfortable.

Ship tip

Bring warm clothes. Lots. And you’ll probably wear more clothes in one day than you think (depending on excursions)

Seattle is a great city. Skip the space needle and just explore.

We chartered a boat and fished here. Lots of fun and caught many fish to send home.

Juneau, Alaska

We did the canoe excursion. It was very strenuous and tiring but the view was amazing.

Skagway, Alaska

Definitely a little tourist town. Regret not doing an excursion here.

Victoria, British Columbia

Save on some cash and walk to the down town area. It’s a nice walk and you’ll get to the palace there.

Disembarkation

Simple and painless
