Review summary

It was a wonderful experience, but I know,I keep saying, in comparison of the SOLSTICE first trip to Alaska a few years ago, it was less classier, people on bathrobe? wow, pijamas? NO, please don't. It is obvious, that now is a lot more commercial in many ways, and that keeps my options open for a different cruise next time. I'm not a rich person, but I decided to come back to Solstice ad pay the rate of it, because of the Classy experience, but at the same time comfortable enough to be me. It is a decision of management, to decide who is your customer....LOVE for now.

Great, but we were at the first Alaska trip, and now it seems of a lesser quality, less efforts, less class.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

GREAT!!!! but there were details this time, things not working, cold coffee, closing areas leaving sometimes hardly nothing, maybe you guys should have a sig somewhere about the total options of the hour.

Onboard Activities

Shows, classes, dance....it was great. The main show was very good, but once again, not as great of the first Solstice in Alaska.

Entertainment

I love the couple of ladies, they are amazing, wow. The main show was very good, but it needed more essence. DJ's great...maybe a little bit more personal touch.

Children's Programs

no kids

PEOPLE cam make a difference everywhere, and you choose GREAT PEOPLE. I love their care and help. Especially Sandia, my favorite officer Michael Dallas, the captain....and a few others like Andre in jewelry.

LOVE IT!

Cabin / Stateroom

It was OK, but once again, in my first trip, we had a room that was suppose to be for 2 people, and I love it more than this one. It was almost frontal, with an area of glass covering the small room, lovely.

Ship tip

Keep ti classy, but comfortable, don't over eat...LOL, and have fun.

The information given to us was not the same in every place, so it was confusing, people were not on the same plane of knowledge.
