Review summary

Enjoyed our cruise as first time on Celebrity line.. service was top notch. Buffet could have been better, so instead we at in the main dining... but to get the crab we wanted we ate in speciality dining (and paid more), unfortunately the service wasn’t as good as main dining room. The Captain was wonderful, even the staff loved him. The only other noticeable problem was with the bars not being fully stocked.. not sure what the problem was.

Yes, there is a wait, but that is true for all cruises. Celebrity’s process was very orderly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The main dining room and specialty dining get 5 stars, the buffet could have been better. The Bars were not fully stocked .. all of the bars seemed to have different ways they fixed drinks, you had to explore each one to see if you could get everything you wanted with our party of 4.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Lots of hot tubs and places to swim.. indoor and out... and the weather so they were both used. Wasn’t sure why grass was roped off all the time or the cabanas??

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Went to only two comedy shows .. one was good.. one was not so good.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
This was the best part of the cruise! Our service was excellent.. Main dining room servers and staff get 6 stars! Only one time had poor service in Silk Harvest speciality dining.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It was clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Was surprised on the size of the bathroom- loved our room and balcony.

Ship tip

Bars were lacking full stock of booze for classic vs premium package. Bartenders made drinks different at each bar. Use back elevators when possible.. less crowds.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

No excursions

Ketchikan, Alaska

We did the Tom Kat Cart adventure.. it was a lot of fun and the staff was very knowledgeable. We also had time in the town for shopping- the streets are mostly under construction which takes away the beauty of the town. Reason for one less star.

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

5 out of 5
The Captain was awesome! We loved this morning from our balcony with room service!

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
We just did the sky tram ... we had been here before .. wanted to just enjoy kicking back. The trolley back and forth to the town should have been free. (Celebrity should pay for this!)

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Skagway ferry to Haines ... enjoy the less crowded town .. and our excursion to see the wilderness there.

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

5 out of 5
Captain did a great job... loved his sense of humor... funnier than one of the comedian on the ship!

Victoria, British Columbia Did not visit port

Didn’t get off ship... been there before

Disembarkation

Loved the baggage valet - they offered to check in to our flight for us, printed out airline luggage tags and the next time we saw our bags was back at home at our airport .. we didn’t have to handle our bags at all!! That was awesome!
