Onboard Activities

Used spa expensive. Went to three shows the best was with comedian Martin Paul. They had a very animated naturalist named Brent Nixon who I enjoyed. Did not use pools.

Shops on the Boulevard

4 out of 5

They didn’t have any essentials.

Entertainment

4 out of 5

Ensemble Lounge

5 out of 5

Good bar and servers musical entertainment is great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Top notch service in dining rooms and cabin.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Some windows need to be replaced. Found it difficult to find the spa.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Overall room was great. Only complaint was the TV. Free movies didn’t work most of the time. They either didn’t load or weren’t available. TV channels left a lot to be desired.

Ship tip

Do a lot of research on excursions.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington Did not visit port

Plane got in too late.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Tourist town mostly shops. Had excursion scheduled and it was canceled last minute.

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

4 out of 5
Was beautiful and Captain got in really close.

Juneau, Alaska

3 out of 5
Excursion was canceled when we arrived on ship. Booked different one and it wasn’t worth the money. Took half hour bus ride to glacier and it turned out to a self guided tour for one hour. All walking and back on bus for another twenty minutes to get on old boat to look for whales.

Skagway, Alaska Did not visit port

We rented a car and drove to Canada. That was fun and enjoyable.

Victoria, British Columbia

Just another tourist trap

I’m glad your you didn’t have any problems embarking or disembarbarking We unfortunately did as a matter of fact we were three couples. Two of the couples were dropped off while the third went to return the rental car we had. That couple had Elite status. We were still on line to check in when they returned and were checked in before we even got to the counter. We easily waited for an hour on line. Disembarking wasn’t as bad and similar to past cruises I have been on. The TV was rebooted and we still had same issues.

i have to disagree with the long lines, especially not like Disney! We never had to wait to embark or disembark on ANY DAY. There were 2300 onboard and we never had an issue with lines. Guest services were excellent at helping to identify various excursions. Had same issue with TV, called guest services and they rebooted it. We watched 2 great movies while at sea, FOX, CNN were available.. who wants a selection of TV channels when paying thousands to be outside and enjoying the MAGNIFICENT views of Alaska

Did you book the excursions through the ship or directly with the vendor? We rarely ever book ship excursions because they are generally overpriced, overcrowded and last a shorter amount of time than booking directly with a vendor.
