Our room steward KADAK was very good, the bar steward in Captains Club (Kim) was outstanding, waiters in Grand Epernay we all excellent. No complaints.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Yes the ship in good condition. Solstice is a favourite.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Concierge Class room, very comfortable, prefer the combination whereby the bed is first as you enter the cabin and the lounge near the sliding door to balcony. This time it was round the other way.

Did a local excursion on the Agia or family buses around the island and up to the highest point. Wonderful views everywhere and the scenery great with clear sparkling waters.

Vava'U, Tonga Islands

Tender port and welcome by dancers and band from local school - all downhill from there. No infrastructure to cope with influx of tourists, buses in state of disrepair. Still has a way to go.

Nuku'Alofa, Tonga Islands

5 out of 5
Bus tour with our excellent guide Will. Aiming other sights saw the Palace, Royal Tombs, commemoration atthe site of visit by Captain James Cook in 1777. Then to Lavengatonga Beach and Oholei Resort where we were entertained then walked to Hina Cave where we had a fabulous Tongan cultural performance and the highlight was Polynesian Fire Dancers - fantastic.

Disembarkation

Again, very smooth and quick.
