We loved the ship and a few of the excursions 😄. Seeing the wildlife was definitely the highlight of the trip. I kind of expected Alaska to be even more scenic than it was , so that was a little bit different than I thought it would be .

Excellent ! The food was great . We ate in the Oceanview cafe the entire time and did the buffet . There is a wide variety of food to choose from and it was delicious . We didn't feel the need to pay for any special food arrangements .

Would have love to have seen more shows for entertainment during the day instead of just at night . We thoroughly enjoyed the acrobatic show " Euphoria" and would love to see more of that and also comedy shows during the daytime . They had bingo , hot glass blowing show , some game shows , basketball court , and swimming pools available .

Loved our room and it was great for 2 people . Any more than 3 people would be cramped . We loved our balcony . The only thing we didn't like was that the bed was very hard and uncomfortable to us . Also , we wish that more channels were available to watch without paying for them and more movies .

Eat in the Oceanview cafe ! It's awesome ! Also , balcony rooms are the best !
We toured the city on our own . Neither of us were impressed with Seattle . It seemed a little run down and very industrial . We enjoyed taking the light rail for $6.00 round trip ! What a bargain !
Cute and quaint from the shore , but not much going on in the town . The people were very nice and the shopping here was the best for any type of clothing or souvenirs . This was a hard one for picking a shore excursion. We did the wilderness exploration and crab fest . The crab fest was good , but the wilderness exploration was not all that exciting . It may have been more exciting if we had never seen crab before or if we had small kids with us .
Juneau itself was actually really small ... BUT our shore excursions were awesome . We went on the Tracy Arm Fyord Glacier excursion prior to arriving in port and then the " whale tour , glacier exploration and rainforrest trails " shore excursion by Gastineau guides was excellent ! We saw lots of Eagles , humpback whales, orca whales with babies , seal lions , and a mama bear with Cubs . There was a lot of wildlife here .
The port was not much to be desired . We did the " Alaskan gold rush highlights " shore excursion that included a train ride . Being train enthusiasts , both of us were disappointed with the scenery on the train ride and the gold panning was hokey and more for children . The food at the gold panning place was good though .
Pretty city . We walked around and found several parks to visit . There didn't seem to be much good shopping there and prices were expensive . They have some pretty buildings there .
Great ! Very quick and organized . It took less than 10 mins to debark when our number was called ! Great job , Celebrity Solstice ! We were impressed!
