Review summary

My family of four had an excellent vacation aboard the Celebrity Solstice. We were unfamiliar with the islands but were very impressed with the destinations. The staff aboard the ship were fantastic and catered to our every need, including two celiac diets. We especially appreciated the all inclusive beverage package we purchased!

Loved the veranda at the back of the ship, no wind when sailing and lots of sun!

Well developed port. Excursions at welcome centre were fraction of the price of ship for same experience, and hop-on-hop-off shuttles got us to every location for the day very cost effectively.

Yes, you can order something else. You can order 2 of anything (but it's a lot of food). If they serve lobster, you can get 1 more, or 2 more... and a steak, too! They have a shrimp dish and I always order it and ask them to "double the shrimp". They will do almost anything for you to make you happy. We ordered limoncellos and our drink server went to the Tuscan Grill, where they make their own, to get them.

Hi y"all. My first time on Celebrity and first for Alaska . Can u tell me anything about the dining ... on Carnival if I was unhappy with my meal I simply ordered something else . Does this apply on Solstice as well.

I was on the celebrity solstice and thought that the Ocean View Cafe and Healthy cafe had better food than the anytime dinning. Except for the last Saturday night when the had all the good things on the menu at once- lobster tail, lamb cutlets, beef Wellington and duck-they should have spread them over the cruise instead of having them all in the one night.
