Review summary
After a week of being home, I continue to marinate over each day's activities and experiences we had on the Celebrity Solstice. Aug.8-15th. We were fortunate to have on board the dynamic scientist, Brent Nixon, who presented seminars on the wonders of Alaska (Orca-The Killer Whale, Bears, Glaciers, etc.) He was fantastic and eager to share his wealth of knowledge which enhanced our vacation immensely.
In addition to the natural beauty we beheld at each port, the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the ship, variety of daytime and evening activities, selection of tasty food, we were never in search of something to do. However, a most unexpected surprise was the Valet Luggage Program which removed the stress at the end of the trip. We did not have to worry with our luggage until we reached our destination. That was great!
Thanks to Celebrity for making our Alaska Cruise a memorable event.

Ship tip
Although sometimes crowded, the Oceanview Café offered many options and you could always find a place to sit to enjoy your meal. Since we were the Aqua Class we had the option to eat in the Blu for breakfast and dinner. We reserved the last night for specialty dining at the Murano. Fabulous!
