Review summary

Celebrity Solstice was overall an incredible first cruise experience. The staff was very personable and greeted guests by name throughout the cruise. Aqua class cabins were treated to Blu, an excellent specialty restaurant, as well as to express embarking and disembarking. The only reason for the 4 rating is due to difficulties in tendering guests off the boat and into port in Juneau causing delays in our excursions. Also, immigration delays in Victoria caused difficulties in managing the large crowd of guests lining up to get off the ship.

The Hot Glass Show was outside in the cold temps and latecomers would just come and stand in front of those seated. Not worth the wait.

Ship tip

Splurge for Aqua class and enjoy the beautiful Persian Room in the spa, Blu Restaurant, and ease embarking and disembarking. Indoor pool areas were a hit with cold weather.
