Use room service for your breakfast if possible. Oceanview Cafe is very crowded. Eat at the Lawn Club and Muranos for excellent special dinning experience. In the theater sit back on deck 4 on the side down to the front row. Never sit in the bottom level front.

Treat yourself to "Breakfast in Bed" a few times during the trip, or have a late night snack delivered to your stateroom. Like staying in a high class hotel!
danolson47
make sure you know the exact location of your stateroom before booking so that you are not near a service door

Don't miss the Sunset Bar for an amazing sunset drink before or after dinner!

Avoid Blu and Aqua class unless you are really into spa. The dining room issues (see above) needs to be addressed before I would consider Blu again. Food was good but there is a problem with the service. Overall, a very nice cruise ship however. Very clean, stable and most of the staff is wonderful

The bar across from Guest relations is the best. The best servers and the best atomsphere

Dinner every night in Opus, great quality food, not paying the up charge of a specialty restaurant you really get to know the staff.

Select your shore excursions early.

Game On has a Word Power game that is incredibly challenging and enjoyable.

The hammocks at the front of the ship on Deck 14 are great for relaxing and watching the sunset.

There were lots of little "corners" and hideaway places on ship to read and get away from the crowds.

Little café on deck 5 for coffee and deserts and gelato. Was very nice.

Sunset Bar at the end of the ship was a great spot for the sailaways and sunsets

The Alcoves is a great option for a private deck experience. Each comfortably accommodates 4. Staff are attentive and can get what you want. Awnings for shade if full sun is not desired. Less expensive on port days. The Lawn Club Grill is the best restaurant for relaxed fun w/do-it-yourself options.

For the best positions for sunning go to the Solstice deck!

Book a suite and stick to Michael's lounge area where you'll get better service.

They arranged a pingpong tournament. I saw those who brought their own paddles were at the final. If you like to play games, check out the game room. We spent many hours there.

Beware of tendering! Ship excursions go first so you need to get an early tender ticket if you plan to go ashore on tender ports.

The glass elevators are really neat - visually stimulating. As with any ship, sometimes the fastest way to get where your going is to take an uncrowded elevator in the opposite direction. (What goes up must come down... and vice versa)
