Q: Never been to Bimini before, sounds like it’s pretty much a beach day which is fine by me unless you rent a golf cart and explore. My question.. is the beach area at Resorts World free or is there a fee to go on their property? I thought I read somewhere that anyone can go and sit on the beach. Thank you for any input.

A: There is a fee. We booked the day there through Celebrity. The property is beautiful, great pool area with 2 huge pools, 1 for families, the other adults only. The beach is gorgeous with tons of chairs. Drinks were rather expensive as is food. Our p... ackage included both plus entry. There is a free shuttle from the pier to Resorts World. It is far nicer than the free beach by the shipSee More

A: Most comments regarding this question are incorrect. In an actual full blown suite, you do get a coffee maker.
Answered by deboftheseas on August 10, 2024
A: Usually no there isn’t. But you can ask for it from your steward.
Answered by Bigmoma on August 9, 2024
A: They usually have either a Nespresso or Lavazza machine for coffee in the room.
Answered by NYThunder on August 9, 2024
A: And I'm sure you will receive fast service if u are in a suite!!
Answered by outtoseapatty on August 8, 2024
A: No. They will bring you a carafe of coffee anytime. They dont want anything in rooms that could heat up and cause a fire.

A: Ooops, my bad! I thought you were asking about the Emerald Princess which we just came off of. My apologies:(

A: Definitely the solarium pool in the Lotus Spa….it was so relaxing and quiet! It also has 2 hot tubs.

Q: Has anyone ever rented a golf cart in Bimini? I’ve been reading reviews and mostly getting conflicting reviews. I’m honestly having second thoughts on renting one.

A: It’s a tiny island with little to no resources to upkeep the carts. If you rent from a local you get what you get. If the Bimini resort can lend/rent up one then you’ll have a more comfortable experience.

A: we've been there a few times and each time have rented a golf cart. while some may be older we've never had any issues.

Q: Hello guys. I have a question. Me and my brother are going on the reflection June 14th and I was wondering if we would be able to tell them to separate the bed in the room to two twin beds?

A: Yes, you can ask that through your travel agent or Celebrity agents before your trip (preferred) or ask your room steward to separate beds on Day 1.
Answered by VAcruisenut on April 26, 2024
A: do it from app or phone customer service beforehand. it will b perfect when you arrive. I have traveled with my brother too.
Answered by outtoseapatty on April 30, 2024
A: Your cabin steward can easily make the bed two twins at your request.
Answered by wericnashville on April 28, 2024
A: I’m pretty sure you can have them separate the beds from the celebrity app when you manage your reservation. Then it can be done right from the start.

A: No. we were on Reflection April 13,2024 and my husband and other men had Nice shorts and quality flip flops a few nights and no one turned him away. Other men had Nice press dining" MDR. My husband did wear long pants and nice shoes on elegant nigh... ts tho. He did not take a dress jacket, as our travel friend did not. but he said he would next time for elegant night, tho he would not wear a tie.See More

A: I am on the Reflection currently and there are people in the main dining room in shorts and t shirts.

A: Thanks all. We won't chance it. I'll just pack him trousers. We haven't sailed Celebrity since April 2022 on Apex and I couldn't remember if it was enforced or not. We've done Virgin Voyages, NCL, Royal Caribbean, and Carnival since then and shorts w... ere fine on each of those. We'll just follow the rules.See More

A: I was on the Ascent last week. There is a sign outside the dining rooms with the dress code which includes “no shorts”. I don’t wear shorts to the dining rooms, however each night I did see at least one person wearing shorts. I don’t think they would... refuse entry. The cruise lines seem less strict than they use to be.See More

A: We were on Silhouette a couple of weeks ago and saw them turn some men away for wearing shorts.

Q: If you go on ascent on the first week and then Reflection on the second week how do you get from one ship to the next? My husband uses a scooter so that’s another problem. Could he use it to get to the second ship? How far apart are the ships?

A: in my opinion, this is questions for customer service. Normally passengers don't know what dock and relationship to other ships you will b on land. it can be done, if the time permits between your disembarkation of one ship and embarking next ship.... You should be able to get help w this from Celebrity...they are very accommodating. I would start w phoning directly.See More

A: It varies. When you enter Port Everglades large electronic sign boards will direct you to the correct terminal. When we cruised on the Reflection in January, we departed from one terminal and returned to another terminal. Free shuttles were available... to take passengers to parking garages. A little chaotic, but doable. Happy cruising!See More

Q: Is the Reflection a good ship for young kids? We’ve sailed the Disney Dream and NCL Jewel in the past and liked the intimacy of the Jewel. We’re attracted to this ship for its size and are wanting to book a cruise 10/11-10/14 in Florida to precede our WDW trip. However, it appears our only other options are on 6K passengers ships with Royal or on the Disney Wish, the latter of which is more than what we want to spend for a 3-night cruise. Our daughter will be a couple of weeks short of turning 5 when we go on this cruise, if we go. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thank you! 😊

A: I wouldn’t recommend this ship for young kids as there are not enough activities for them such as a dedicated water park area or water slides. They do have a club for kids.
Answered by wynwyn on February 3, 2024
A: I just got off the Reflection. Great ship, but better suited for the 50+ crowd! Stick with Royal Caribbean or a Disney for young kids.
Answered by VAcruisenut on February 3, 2024
A: I should mention that we have no interest in trying Carnival and aren’t sure MSC would be a good option for our daughter, either.
Answered by LauraRussellMT on February 2, 2024
A: There is a kids club, but no water activities per say. You’d be best off with Royal Caribbeans big ships built for families.

A: Formal nights as we once remember them no longer exist on most of the major, family-oriented cruise lines. Today, on a Celebrity seven night cruise you will have two “evening chic” nights. This translates into “dress to impress, glamorous and sophist... icated in your own way”. On these evenings those passengers eating in the Main Dining Room may be seen wearing slacks with collared shirts, skirts with blouses, coat & tie, cocktail dresses, and even formal aware. Shorts and tee-shirts are frowned upon in the MDR on these two nights and are best worn in the buffet area.See More
Answered by VAcruisenut on January 28, 2024
A: There really is not a formal dress attire night. I was on the Equinox this past week and nice attire is fine. There are a few people that dress up. Sometimes beautiful jewelry is worn too. But any elegant simple wear is perfect.

A: There is a bag in your closet, prices printed on the bag.
Answered by deboftheseas on December 17, 2023
A: MSC prices are:10 items $31, 20 items $38.59.40 items $54. General laundry... all together in a single bag. Collected before noon and returned before dinner the next day. We Loved the quality, everything folded and clean. We would do it again if... on long cruise. Someone we know did it to have clean clothes upon returning home.See More
Answered by outtoseapatty on April 10, 2024
A: Okay….here’s the story….there are no self serve laundry on Celebrity or Royal Caribbean Ships. And the idiot who gave MSC pricing needs to read the question first. Celebrity offers a bag special approximately day 3. Otherwise it’s itemized on the for... m per item price. We are fortunate to be Elite and we each get a complimentary bagSee More

A: Some ships have self laundry , even a couple on some ships.
Answered by KSue55 on January 3, 2024
A: Usually very expensive unless you have enough status for a free bag of laundry. Pack enough to avoid laundry charges. if you are cruising back to back try to find a coin laundry in port.
Answered by Ellarsee on December 21, 2023

Q: I am a whisky drinker and only have the classic drink package. Can I order a scotch and simply pay the difference above $10? The same if I order a cocktail with a specific bourbon? If anyone can point out where I can find a list of all the whisky available and their prices, I'd appreciate it. Thanks
