It’s a tiny island with little to no resources to upkeep the carts. If you rent from a local you get what you get. If the Bimini resort can lend/rent up one then you’ll have a more comfortable experience.

we've been there a few times and each time have rented a golf cart. while some may be older we've never had any issues.
