Review summary

We enjoyed the cruise, but would have liked an adults only pool area as quite a few children aboard. The food and drinks were fantastic and staff were exceptional.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Well organised, but seemed to take forever to get from the plane to the boat. Really long walk inside the airport to meeting point and luggage drop, then a wait. Long walk to the coach. Hours journey to the cruise terminal, then queue to check in.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All the dining areas were excellent, as were the bars. Fantastic choices and spotlessly clean.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools were OK but difficult to get in and out of. Could also have done with some "child free" areas.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Great variety and cruise staff were very good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff were superb. Polite, friendly and efficient.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean and inviting.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Served our needs well. Spotlessly clean.

Ship tip

Don't expect it to be really relaxing - lots of people aboard (including children) so outside areas quite noisy.

Ports of call

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

3 out of 5
Didn't do an excursion.

Messina, Sicily

3 out of 5
Didn't disembark her.

4 out of 5
Nice and easy to get into town.

Santorini, Greece

3 out of 5

there its an adult only pool. celebrity does not employ pool police. You need to speak up.

No, this will be our first Celebrity cruise and we can't wait.

Travelgirl27, were you on Summit last October? We are also on Reflection March2

Travelgirl27    7 years ago

I would not think so on March 2nd and I believe Easter is late this year anyway and most schools seem to incorporate that weekend in to their spring breaks.

@travelgirl27 spring breaks are in March; there could be lots of kids

Travelgirl27    7 years ago

I hope that is not the case in March...

Unfortunately no-one was policing the pool area.

I was on the same sailing and there were lots of young teenagers in the indoor pool. It was the start of Summer Vacation and care said there were over 500 children on board

I thought that there is an adult only pool area on this ship...??? We are booked on it for March and that is what I read and saw on YouTube???
