Review summary

This was a wonderful family cruise, and was everything we were hoping for. We loved all of it. Luckily we booked our specialty dining the day we embarked, otherwise, I think we would been out of luck. Everything booked up really fast for times before 8:30 pm.

Embarkation

Super easy and fast. I had all of our documents printed, so we it went smoothly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The specialty dining experiences were great! Once we found a wait staff in the main dining room we liked, it was better there as well. The lunch buffet was great.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Fitness room was well equipped and the right size. The pools were great, just wish they were bigger with more seating for the at sea days, they were a little crazy and over crowded.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
The only thing we did not care for was the "entertainment" at the pool on the sea days. The "olympics" and volleyball etc took the caliber of the celebrity cruise line down to a carnival type level.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
The Fun Factory for our 2.5 year old was well received by her, she enjoyed it.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
SUPER! Our room steward (davian) was so helpful and did a lot of special things for us. The servers in the specialty dining rooms (TJ & Ignacious) were super.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Easy to navigate and plenty of options for bars, shops, etc.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was bigger than previous experiences, and it was nice to have a bathroom and shower you could actually maneuver in.

Ship tip

If you have kids and bring life jackets for the pool, you don't need to. They offer those on the boat - save lots of packing room and skip that! The on board laundry service is quick and reasonably priced. The premium beverage package is well worth the cost.

Was really hot that day, and we did a bus tour we booked on our own that was ridiculously slow.

Naples, Italy

WE did the Amalfi Coast, Positano and Capri tour and it was great. Just a little long, and a little too structured. We ended up skipping some of the activities in Capri so we could just enjoy a nice lunch and some time on our own.

Disembarkation

SO EASY
