Review summary

This was hands-down the BEST cruise experience I've ever had.  The Celebrity Reflection is a gorgeous ship that is tastefully decorated with no expense spared.  Even though the ship carries about 3,400 passengers it never felt crowded to me at all.  The onboard entertainment could have been a lot better (see that category below), and some of the bar staff, especially at the Sunrise Bar on deck 15 aft, could have been more courteous.  But that aside, the staff overall was always very pleasant and gracious.  Most of our dining was in Opus, the main dining room, and our table staff couldn't have been nicer and accommodating.  We did not dine in any of the specialty restaurants because we felt the premium prices were too high.  I'm not sure why Celebrity continues to charge such high premiums for these restaurants because we usually found them completely empty, or with only 1 or 2 tables occupied.  Also, this ship is the cleanest ship I have ever been on...just spotless!   We look forward to our next cruise, which will definitely be with Celebrity!!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Opus, the main dining room, was fantastic! The food, service, and decor were all excellent!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Most of the activities, such as trivia games, etc. weren't well attended, were held in the lobby areas, and didn't even have prizes for the winners! Even a Celebrity key ring, t-shirt, or coffee mug would have been nice as a prize!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The on-board entertainment is the one area that needs improvement. We didn't see all of the shows, but the ones we did see felt outdated, were low energy, and had sub par talent.

Children's Programs

We didn't bring our children on this cruise -- this was an adults only vacation. But, they did seem to have a very active children's program with lots of activities!

Ship tip

The bar/lounge area we enjoyed the most was The Passport located on Deck 3 across from Guest Relations. They usually don't open until 4pm, but the service was the best, and we usually got little munchies to enjoy with our cocktails.

This was a tender port. It was windy that day and there were visible waves, so we didn't get to into port that day, unfortunately :-(
