Review summary

My wife and I choose this cruise because it spent the most time in each of the ports we wanted to visit. The cruise was great! We had excellent food on the boat as well as in the ports. The ship had quality entertainment for all ages and the amenities were on point. Celebrity upgraded our drink package to Premium without telling us which was a great surprise. The only negative I can say about the ship Reflection is the pool sizes. There is one adult pool inside and two smaller pools on the main deck. These pools get crowded on sea days and the kids take over the pool during peak hours. I wish there was an outdoor pool for adults with a swim up bar. That would have been heaven. Other than that I think this cruise was amazing. We had a balcony suite and the views and the room service was beyond expectations.

Allie_1965, Did your Reflection cruise in June get into Santorini at 2pm? I had read that the boats to Oia only run in the AM. It would be great if that was an option! Thx

It sounds like you had a marvelous cruise.  I, too, wish that the pools were bigger.  They get so crowded that it really isn't relaxing to use them.  At least you had three choices.  Thanks for posing your review.  I enjoyed reading it.

We took a tour of the active volcano's in Santorini and didn't have any issues with making it there on time. Our tour started at 8:45am and went until 12pm. We came back to the boat to change clothes and then went back out into town for lunch. The process of taking tenders isn't at all difficult. The boats can hold 30-40 people and they leave the cruise ship every 30 minutes. Coming back from Santorini is just how DiBeau describes it. The cable cars can only hold 36 people at a time so the que builds up when its time to get back to the ship. You can take a donkey down the hill but the smell is nothing to be desired. All in all you will be fine in Santorini. Just give yourself an hour to get back to the ship and 45 minutes to leave the ship and you wont have any problems.

Thanks for the review, sounds like a good time.

Santorini is very difficult. Even attending Cellars bar at stipulated time for tender tickets does not guarantee early tenders. then on land the funicular only takes 36 people at time. That queue took over 1 hour. Ship excursions are docked by boat and taken straight to coaches before the tenders started. This is the one port I would have taken a ship tour if we'd known that.

Thanks for the review.  I'm really looking forward to the 9/21 sailing.  Could you tell me about your tender experience in Santorini?  That is the only one i'm concerned about.  Since we are doing a private tour we won't get priority tender through the boat from what I can see.  thanks!
