Make sure it is the ship you really want to be on. It is not in the same class or style of Solstice and was not a pleasant surprise

Book private shore excursions if pandemic/post pandemic allows it. Or choose small group tours offered by Celebrity. If your budget allows it, benefits of booking The Retreat is worth it, especially if you’re traveling with parent who may need assistance or special attention.

This is not a great ship for young people. If you have children, teenagers, or young adults in your party, go with Royal Caribbean or Norwegian.

Look for perks and if available take advantage (e.g., "everything included.") Concierge gets you priority boarding (you'll be offered earlier time slots) and debarkation (you'll be able to choose when you want to get off)

Our advice would be to be courteous to the crew as they are doing all they can to make your vacation enjoyable. If they go above and beyond, consider additional cash tips.
