The cruise was smooth. The Captain updated us on the weather and course everyday. All the bars around the ship provided outstanding service.

Full of great memories to remember! by Yumedono0624

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium

This was a great cruise, we have made lasting memories of wonderful trip. If there is a next time, I think we would do land tour in Japan, plan your own itinerary. Japan's public transportation is easy to navigate.

Outstanding Cruise on the Celebrity Millennium by plymouth1943

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Millennium

The Millennium is a large ship. The ship docked at all ports. The staff gave instructions for each port so the passengers can exit the ship orderly. The Oceanview Restaurant on Deck 10 had several stations serving different foods. The seating at times were limited.

Ports of call were great! Ship experience not so much. by GritsUSA

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Millennium

Enjoyed the ports of calls very much. Ship experience not as remarkable as our last cruise. Not sure I'd book this line again - definitely not this ship.

12 Nights Around Japan by MidsCouple

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium

Recommend at least 3 days in Tokyo pre/post cruise. Plan carefully for port calls. In some -Osaka, Hiroshima- there’s too much to do. In others -Aomori, Hakodate- there’s a lot less.

Traditional Cruise with Japanese ports, and 1 Korean port by SanJoseDan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Millennium

Typical cruise with stops in several Japanese ports and 1 Korean port. Little Japanese presence on board. Sushi avaiable only at the sushi dedicated Specialty restaurant - never showed up on the Main Dining Room Menu. The excursions we took were excellent. Even just walking around ashore was great, with a few exceptions.

Overall an excellent cruise. The Millennium is a very nice ship, that has recently undergone a full refit giving it a fresh and modern feel.

Cultural Experience by bucketlister56

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium

For this cruise we flew into Singapore, stayed 4 days. Flew to Bali and stayed 4 more days- then boarded ship. This helped us adjust to time change and long flight from SFO. Really enjoyed the cruise and got a taste of Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

My husband and I were excited to celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary and my birthday on a celebrity cruise as my husband wanted to see more of Asia. We did not have an enjoyable experience unfortunately and will probably not cruise in future.

Pleasant cruise in the Retreat but no butler ! by markers333

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium

Celebrity has continually started to change services and charge more for less. We have decided we get a better value on the smaller Luxury ships for same price when you add everything up. Azamara, Oceania and Viking ocean

Celebrity Millennium Alaska Cruise - Great Ship and Wonderful Experience by rwkoehler

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium

We enjoyed our cruise very much. The Millennium was likely nice to begin with and has relatively recently been renovated. Everything seemed very clean and new. The staff was great and there were multiple options for eating, drinking and entertainment every day.

Royal Suite Life by EllenPK

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Millennium

I’d do the cruise again in a heart beat. Land tour is very expensive for what you get. The food and service in Luminae is best I’ve had. I can’t beat it in Central Ohio. Very comfy beds. Suite life is very good on board!!!

For the price, this was terrible experience by amalik123

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Millennium

We took a 7 day cruise to Alaska on celebrity Millennium. Ship was old and needs update. Shore excursions were very expensive for what they offered. ATV tour is a complete waste of time and money. Celebrity kept charging us for random charges, that required hours to resolve while on the ship. Restaurants were average. Even for Aqua class, nothing special. Their customer service is atrocious. Hours to pickup the phone. The one attraction of Hubbard glacier, ship stayed 5 miles away, and wanted people to buy $500 Hubbard excursion to make more money. Nightly shows were nice, but I am sure they are much more extravagant on nicer ships. Gym and sauna nothing to write about.
