Review summary

For this cruise we flew into Singapore, stayed 4 days. Flew to Bali and stayed 4 more days- then boarded ship. This helped us adjust to time change and long flight from SFO. Really enjoyed the cruise and got a taste of Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

Embarkation

Embarkation in Benoa was chaotic- poor instructions, little signage

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room was great.. seemed like many new staff, but they tried hard to please. Food was tasty and presented nicely. Had early dinner at 630 and there were no lines or hold ups.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Typical activities… trivia, games. Fitness center needs help. Lots of broken treadmills and no staff to assist.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows were good and well attended. Had trio NYC3 that were just awesome

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward did an exception job!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Not sure if I like the design of the ship as it lacks any interior open spaces, but the decorating and color schemes were beautiful.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This was the first time we chose a OV. Usually we’re in a balcony. I’m glad we didn’t spend the extra- it was so hot we wouldn’t set out there anyway. The cabin felt roomy and had more than enough storage. The furniture seemed almost new and cabin was clean. This room overlooks the port ramp. The location made it easy to get out early. As far as noise level it was quiet.

Ship tip

Opt for premium internet if you get it. We had no problems.. my friend did with regular.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easily the best disembarcation out of 10 cruises .. Singapore is tech advanced and all entry and departures use scan terminal. Transport was well marked. A van to the airport was 68 Singaporan .
