Review summary

We were a group of 24, mostly friends and friends of friends, twelve of us cruise on a regular basis. We used a travel agent so any of our questions had to go through her. Never again. We asked for one person to get the free berth and they would split it up, but she had it removed from our bill, then we asked for tables of 10, 8, and 6, so we could sit with our closest friends, we received two tables of 12. So people were swapping between the two tables all week. And leaving a question with her and waiting for an answer was not good. But the cruise in general was outstanding and everyone enjoyed it.

Embarkation

Tremendous

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was very good, but many bars ran out of Bud Light and Coors Light, plus only one, the Martini Bar, had the premium Pino Grigio my wife had paid for.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Did not participate in the onboard activities, we were not onboard that frequently during the day

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Very good, especially the Beatles.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room stewards and waiters were excellent, many of the bar personnel were very laidback.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin 7125 was very well kept, bathroom was spacious and very functional.

Ship tip

It does not have a central location like a Forum or Promenade.

Ports of call

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

5 out of 5
Railroad is awesome and the town is very accessable

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

Juneau, Alaska

4 out of 5
It would have been nice if we docked closer to downtown, we had to take a shuttle bus and other ships were docked downtown.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Train was awesome and town was very interesting.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

3 out of 5
Hoonah was a little disappointing plus the shuttle ran very infrequently and was very full.

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Nice Lumberjack show and very easy town to navigate.

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

3 out of 5
We were fogged in most of the day, it did clear late afternoon and we observed whales swimming along side the ship.

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

5 out of 5
We spent two days in Vancouver, very nice unique parts make up Vancouver.

Disembarkation
