Review summary

This time our cruise included 20 friends. We learned to play hard and party harder! It was a great experience for everyone. They're already asking what cruise is next!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We had no problems on embarkation, everything was very very smooth! The crew greeted us with champagne and smiles

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate in the main dining room with reserved seating, and at the buffet for breakfast. Service and food were great! Much better than the last cruise we did on a different cruise line.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Didn't do any of the physical activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Entertainment was very good...not like the "super cruise ships" but much better than the last Alaskan cruise we were on.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All in all the staff was great! Especially our servers and somalier at dinner! They remembered us (a group of 20) and what we liked to drink.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The Millennium had just been refitted in February so it was immaculate! The overall layout was very nice and clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
All in all the cabin was very comfortable. If there was a negative (and the reason for 4 stars) it's the fact that there was a small couch in the room that gave about a foot of clearance between it and the foot of the bed making the couch almost unusable. A suggestion would be to get rid of the couch and put in something that you could put a suitcase on for packing and unpacking or a small shelf to put souvenirs on.

Ship tip

Be prepared for the experience of you life if you cruise on the Millennium for an Alaskan cruise!

Ports of call

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

5 out of 5
Beautiful city, we were there 3 years ago and got to see more sites.

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

3 out of 5
It was so foggy that we couldn't see anything. The last cruise we took the weather was much better and the beauty of the mountains is incredible!

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Didn't do any excursions there. We ate crab at the Alaskan King Crab company and had a fantastic lunch. We then walked around this historic town and took in the sights

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

5 out of 5
All we can say is RIDE THE ZIPLINE!!!! WOW what a ride!

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
We didn't see much of Juneau because of limited port time and a long excursion (Whale Quest, Mendenhall Glacier and Orca Point Lodge).

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Love the history of the town, did the "Best of Skagway" tour and train ride. Our tour guide Marinda was really good!

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

5 out of 5
No excursion but the sight of the glacier and seeing some calving for the first time added to the excitement

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska Did not visit port

It was just a hopping off point to get on the train to go to Anchorage. We didn't have any time to sight see

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
No problems on Disembarkation
