Review summary

I read a number of reviews stating that the Millennium was dated and worn and that the staff, entertainment and food are not up to par. I must disagree on all counts! We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the ship was and the production shows were wonderful!

Room was small, but provided adequate storage. Loved the balcony! We saw humpback whales and dolphins! Biggest disappointment is the very small bathrooms.

Ship tip

Order room service breakfast or try to make it to the dining room for breakfast on port days. The buffet dining room is a mad house!

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

If possible plan to arrive a day early or stay a day extra so that you can do a Kenai Fjords day cruise. It was the best excursion we took,

Juneau, Alaska

Most excursions here are very weather dependent. We were very disappointed that our helicopter to a glacier was cancelled due to the weather on our day in port. The salmon bake excursion was actually very good.

Skagway, Alaska

We decided to rent a car and drive to Emerald Lake rather than take the railroad. You follow the same path, but are able to stop and enjoy the scenery along the way. The town of Carcross was a fun stop along the way.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

I was just going by 5 other cruises on celebrity and that ship was not up to their standards. poor food poor service the performers were amateur at best plus the volume was so loud that you left with a headache. then celebrity don't even get back to you with some much as a comment like they didn't care and that finished us.

Sometimes you just have to experience things for yourself. We could both be together yet have two different experiences. Neither is wrong. Just different.

you would've agreed if you were with us on our cruise.
