Review summary

The whole trip was wonderful.  The train rides to our different land locations were excellent and the food on the train was great.  The planned excursions on the Land portion were excellent some were optional others were included.  All were worth the price.  The Helicopter ride in Denali and being able to walk on a Glacier was a highlight for both of us.  The small boat whale watching in Icy Straits was superb and being able to see at least a 100 sea otters playing in the water will always be a lasting memory.  Just as importantly meeting fellow travelers on the Land trip and then sharing our daily experiences with them on the Cruise was simply icing on the cake.  I would recommend to any one planning both the Land and Sea to do the Land portion first.

Thank you for the no. The countdown has started for 8/23. We are doing the land tour first.

Sounds so wonderful! I heard the balcony was the way to go. Did you find you had any issues with the the itinerary/travel being it was not a round trip for the embark/disembark?
