Review summary
The land tour portion of this trip was not what we expected from Celebrity. The hotel accommodations in Denali were very poor. Room was dirty, staff was not prepared for us, food very pricey, and you are locked in there - no transportation or shuttle to area where shops and other restaurants were. Our tour guide on the land tour was great and the excursions were very good - but Celebrity can do a lot better in selecting hotels for the land tour. The cruise itself was good. The excursions we selected were very good. The ship could use renovation - it is a bit worn. But the staff was friendly and the food a bit above average. I would recommend Celebrity for the cruise - but not the land tour.
Alaska is beautiful and we really enjoyed seeing this beautiful part of the country.

Ship tip
The enclosed pool was very nice; however, it was closed on our last "at sea" day for painting and repairs. We felt like that was very poor planning. The hot tubs outdoors were too cold to use so we had to find other activities for our last sea day.
