Review summary

This is my first time cruising with Celebrity.  In general, I had good time with the experience.  However, if I have to be critical, comparing to other cruiselines we have taken before (not Alaska though), I believe Celebrity still has many rooms to improve.

On-board activities:  The on-board activities are limited comparing to others, even on crusing days.  We were a little bored with 2 kids from time to time.  Of course there are many fee-based activities like casino and drinking but public, free activities are liminited.

Food:  There are many promotions for fine dining.  The included meals are not bad but again comparing to other cruiselines, the foods are not on top either.

Ship tip

Please plan excursions carefully to maximize your experience on this cruise. If you don't want to take too many on-shore activities, you may end of getting bored on the ship. However, it is a good way to relax if you prefer that way.

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
We did most of our heavy lifting activities there like helicopter ride and whale watching etc.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
We didn't do too many things there because we want to watch World Cup in the theater on board. Nice experience with other soccer fans from all over the places

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

5 out of 5
We did ziplineing there. Nice expereince but not take much of your time.

Ketchikan, Alaska Did not visit port

We toured the town for 3 hours and that's pretty much all you can do. Of course you can catch up some standard acitivities if you haven't done that before.

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia
