We were on this ship in 2009 just prior to its being refurbished. WOW!!! they did a great job. Everything was fresh and new and spotlessly clean. I loved the artwork that was placed throughout the ship. It is very easy to find your way around the ship. It is well laid out. I'm usually very cold on a cruise ship, especially in the main dining room, but this ship was not like that. It was kept at a very pleasant temperature.

Service and Staff

Maitre de brought the chef to our table to discuss the quality and preparation of the salmon. Staff in the buffet were very responsive to requests for items that were not out, ie. they brought bananas and prunes right to our table. Yogurt server was extremely pleasant and friendly.

Roomy. Nice amenities. I didn't like the hair dryer. It wasn't powerful enough. I once had the dryer placed in the cabin rather than the bathroom and that was more accessible.

Must go to the beach and swim in the sea. We went to Palm Beach. Check out one of the beautiful resort hotels. City bus system is very convenient.

Don't Miss: We heard from others that the emerald falls was a don't miss. Sorry we didn't go there.

Pros: The ship was bright and airy and not cold all the time.

Cons: The coffee in the buffet dining area. It was rarely good tasting.
