Review summary

The Millenium was beautiful when we were last onboard but it is tired and in need of updates. Fortunately it was kept clean and it did not impact our time onboard very much.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Noticed menu changes--food always good, but didn't like having really special meals offered on same night. The specialty restaurant was great, as always.

Entertainment

Especially enjoyed the naturalist (Enright) and attorney lectures.

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

Beautiful city but beware of seedy areas near Chinatown, which is very nice. Had delicious lunch at Chill Winston (don't walk any further tho as area gets bad).

Empress Hotel and Butchart Gardens are two must-sees.

Seattle, Washington

Beautiful city. Had a space needle tour that with enjoyable tour driver but handled very poorly at the site by venue personnel. We only had 1 hour 15 minutes and after 45 minutes we were still in line to go up elevator to top of needle. Had no time to do anythine else.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Did a tour special not associated with Celebrity and this first part was awful (called "Best of Alaska). Booked through link from cruises.com.

Pros: The staff were fabulous, food very good, ports of call common to area.

Cons: The Millennium is getting tired and needs renovation.
