Review summary

This is our 10th cruise, first time with Celebrity. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and the good reviews. Celebrity claims to be an exceptional cruise line, but it did not deliver as promised. Food, service, the constant harassment to buy specialty meals, and the cost of transfers from the ship to town were very high. Truly disappointed.

Food was mediocre. Mashed potatoes and green beans and carrots every day. There was not variety and the meats in the carving area tasted and looked that the meats were cooked a long time ago, then frozen, then defrosted for the day. Very dissappointed.

The couch was so wore out and dirty we didn't feel comfortable seating on it. Towels were discolored, thin, and at the same time stiff. Toiletries were low quality, motel type.

I wish people would post pictures of the things they complain about. My experience on Infinity was very different; but this was back in 2019, so I can't really relate. I liked Infinity better than I did the Equinox because it was a smaller ship. Though I did miss Murano and Tuscan Grill.

We’ve been very happy with all Celebrity cruises we’ve been on. The ships were all beautiful. Staff were always helpful and and with a a smile. Food delicious. Everything top notch! This also was before Covid.
