Please refer to my review. Of course, the highlight of this cruise is the Panama Canal transit. The staff is an extra bonus for this trip!!

Kudos to the following staff: Alvin- our steward, I had medication that needed to be refrigerated for the entire 15-day cruise and he made sure we were well taken care of. We always saw Alvin every morning, afternoon and evening cleaning and preparing our room. He was always happy and greeted us by our last name. What a hard worker and delight to see every day! Jorge- our waiter in the Trellis Dining Room was outstanding. He has a great eye for detail and made our dining experience feel like we were the only couple in the entire room. He never looked rushed and always gave us his undivided attention. He always focused on us and never once was distracted by his other guests... though he was attentive to them as well. Richard- assistant waiter to Jorge. What a pleasant young man who aspires to be a head waiter. He certainly deserves that promotion as he learned very quickly what we liked... he always had the wine glasses removed (we rarely drink wine), he made sure we had 2 butter and sauce platters as we enjoyed them with our bread. He politely cleared my husband's bread crumbs every evening and it was a joy watching how Jorge and Richard were a well-oiled machine. They worked in harmony, what a beautiful thing to witness. Marvin- our Sommelier in the Trellis Dining Room was always so gracious to have us try the pairing wine with our dinner. We aren't fans of wine but Marvin was patient with us and had us try different kinds of wine. He even took our order for the bartender and made sure we were pleased with our beverages with our dinner every evening. One of the friendliest, humble gentlemen we have met. Emanuel- a waiter in the Qsine restaurant and smoothie maker in the Spa Cafe was such a pleasure to have wait on us. He made us smoothies every day with a smile and even learned which ones were our favorites and asked "the usual Mr. and Mrs. _____?" He was so excited to see us on the last night of our cruise in the Qsine restaurant as he was our assistant waiter. What a nice young man that loves his job and is a great people person! Iketut (Jimmy) and Roby - bartenders in the Martini Lounge were amazing. They were a hoot!! They learned what drinks we liked, even if they were not Martinis. They suggested drinks we have never tried and we loved them. Their pouring tower is so entertaining and they have so much fun keeping everyone happy. I love that Celebrity has their staff's country of origin on their name tag, so it's fun to ask them about where they call home. They are so friendly to share which makes our experience even more enriching! Jimmy and Roby were interesting to talk with when it was slow and we were the only guests at the bar. They are gems, don't ever lose them!! Zhanna and Septiana- Bar Servers in the Cafe Al Bacio were exceptional. Another two staff that learned our favorite coffee drinks and asked if we would like our usuals. They always asked if we wanted a muffin or roll with our coffee and sometimes surprised us with their recommendation. We took the Behind The Scenes Tour and saw Septiana below deck in the crew hallway and she recognized my husband and said: "what are you doing down here Mr. ____?" She was so surprised to see us. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK Alvin, Jorge, Marvin, Emanuel, Iketut, Roby, Zhanna, and Septiana. Our hope is Celebrity recognizes your talents and devotion to customer service as you are so deserving of an exemplary recognition!!

Had to tender in and the sea was rough and choppy. Elected not to chance seasickness at the beginning of our cruise!

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Did not visit port

Dirty and not user-friendly. The only positive is there is a Walmart across the street if you forgot to bring something.

Very poor city. Sad that all the Panama money goes to Panama City. Not even tourism is helping with their economic plight.
