Review summary

and probably our last.  First, Celebrity does not live up to the services listed on their website.  We were not offered help to unpack, there were no sweet/salty snacks in the room, no offer of a "pillow selection", no "tea service" and no afternoon Tapas.  The "Butler" for our room mentioned none of this as being available.  Plus the very first night he walked in on my wife in the bathroom without a knock or any warning.   Next morning, I'm coming out of the bathroom to get dressed and he opens the cabin door and peeks his head in (not even sure why), again without knocking or ringing the doorbell.

We discussed this all with Eric Guzman, suite manager, later that day.  He said it wasn't the Butlers fault on services as they "are trained not to offer these special services unless asked"!    I'm sorry, but I was in customer service for over 40 years.  Excellent customer service is "anticipating customer needs", not just reacting to requests.  Celebrity should be ashamed of this level of service.

Overall, we felt in addition to the poor service, food quality and ship entertainment was below the levels we had experienced on our previous 5 Celebrity cruises.

It was an accessible Suite. Shower kept flooding the bathroom. Poorly designed shower.

Ship tip

Luminae was the main restaurant for Suite customers. The menu wasn't very appealing and we didn't know until 4 days before the cruise ended that you could also order from the main dining room menu. So again, make sure to ask a lot of questions.
