Review summary

I have to say overall this was a nice cruise.  The weather was great - a bit on the hot and humid side but nice as we are coming from a long cold winter.  Our room was an Aqua Suite with our dining in Blu.  We enjoyed Blu, more intimate and food was 99% amazing.  As Blu was not open during lunch we had to dine elsewhere.  We tried Trellis for a few lunches and found it to be crowded (tables placed very close together) service was slow, waiters seemed stressed BUT food was good.  Enjoyed most ports.  Was a bit disappointed on our tour in Colon Panama, This is the one port I would not recommend taking any tour, in fact you could skip that port entirely as you saw the locks going thru and the speakers on the ship told us all about it.  Our tour was of the "locks" and a boat ride on the lake to look for wildlife.  The lock tour was a waste of time - the boat ride nice but would have been nice to have expanded the ride to more than just circling a couple of very small islands hoping to see some wildlife.  Loved Loved Loved Guatamala and the history tour of Antigua - our guide Hugo was amazing.  Had the opportunity of watching local celebrations on Easter Sunday.  Great to experience that culture.  We enjoyed the days at sea (there was quite a few sea days but we found them relaxing).  Would recommend this trip if you want to spend some days in nice warm (actually hot) temps.  We were probably some of the "youngest" on the ship and we are late 50's /early 60's in age.  Celebrity did a wonderful job of being on top of a NoroVirus incident.  "Washy Washy" - they were everywhere cleaning handrails, chairs, etc constantly and consistantly.  Great Job Celebrity! Kept all informed and exceptional cleaning.

Our room person was great - bar personal were SLOW and crabby, especially at the pool bars. The bar at the back of the ship was the best

Ship tip

If you want to sit in the sun, be away from the crowds - go to deck 12 on the back of the ship - there are very few people that venture up there.
