The purpose of my traveling to Europe has always been to experience the culture and marvel at the history which is so much greater than that in the United States. I frequently tour palaces, cathedrals, and sit in the squares of town set of been there for thousands of years. Be prepared to spend a lot of money on tours, but spending this money on tours that skip the line, get you in and out quickly, allows you to maximize your time. I would recommend Alla tours for St. Petersburg Russia

Highlight was supposed to be VIP tickets to Open on Sunday which was signature event. 5 hour transit and 10pm departure of ship from dock caused us to arrive late and leave before the end which was very disappointing and never mentioned. We will be more cautious next time.

The Eclipse is beautiful, well designed and super clean. The onboard activities were somewhat lacking. The shows were pretty good but but nothing to brag about. Blu restaurant (for Aqua class) was outstanding. The entire crew was courteous and helpful. My only complaint is the food in the buffet was awful, as most are. However, there were not. the usual alternatives that are offered on other Celebrity ships.

Been on Celebrity a number of times and this was the first time we had to complain, when we got to our cabin (1297 Concierge) it hadn't been prepared smelly no welcome pack and to crown it all the previous tenants dirty underwear at the foot of the bed. Needles to say we got action and the room was completely overhauled. Get the feeling that since the Royal Caribbean takeover costs are being cut. MISTAKE. Standards are what you pay Celebrity for.

One of the best cruises we have ever been on. The stops were excellent and the weather was good the only day that was a bit of a wash was the first day in Russia rain most of the day but was still able to see what was on our list of things to do. The ship the staff and the entertainment were great.

The Eclipse is a stunning ship and our Balcony Cabin spacious, clean and comfortable. Can't fault the service received from all the crew. Such enthusiasm is infectious. Would certainly highly recommend the Celebrity Line.

See as much as you can. The Celebrity excursions are very expensive. We used Viator. Cost less and smaller groups. Watch out for pickpockets and thieves. Enjoy

We enjoyed this cruise. Liverpool was great. Le Havre needs some commute in order to get to somewhere more interesting. Foods and activities are amazing. Shows are not to missed, very impressive performance.

cabin staff was great Specialty restaurants food was just average excursions were disorganized disembarkation was total chaos specially for suite guests. And than getting scolded by the excursion director for making him and our driver wait. Totally unappreciated and uncalled for.

Celebrity Eclipse is a lovely ship with very friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Hired a car in Reykavik which worked out well, booked the puffin trip independently in advance with puffin express, amazing experience. Did glass blowing on board ship, expensive but where else would you get to do it. Wouldn’t bother again with speciality restaurants, over priced and the food and service in main restaurant first class.

I loved this they were so nice everyone on board were and they do drink tricks and it feels like you are a celebrity😂😂 the entertainment was really good to

This was my first cruise and it was excellent! I would highly recommend Celebrity Eclipse. The Cruise Director, Eddy Jenkins was very funny and upbeat all the time. The food, entertainment, cabin, etc. were excellent and I would definitely go back onboard again!

Cabin 2153 was our room. The room was hidden behind a door that I assume is for safety of some sorts. This kept the area outside the front door quiet. No passerby’s as you needed a key to get through the fall door to get to the cabin door. Room was very spacious as a SkySuite facing the back of the ship. The veranda has then overhang from the Sea Cafe above which gives you privacy from downlookers, but it also adds noise from the constant moving of chairs and tables above. This noise does carry over to inside the room. No other complaints on the room. The ship is a beautiful ship with plenty of room for everybody. Never felt crowded. Always something going on. My only negative about the ship setup is the wasted space for the glass blowing. That could be such a great eating venue as it is on the Reflection. Crew were all great and very help with any issues. Being a suite guest made it easy to get on the tender when anchored.

The issues with Celebrity put a bit of a damper on this vacation. Everything from pre-purchased perks and dining to upgrades all done through Celebrity simply didn't seem to exist in the reservation system. We cruised with some friends very experienced at cruising and they said they'd never seen things this bad or poorly run. I'm not sure if it was a specific ship, crew, or Celebrity system problem but, it ate up hours of our vacation working with Guest Services only to find that, yes indeed, Celebrity had records of everything in their shore-side systems that somehow did not connect at all with the ship-board systems prior to the cruise. We'll be holding off booking again with Celebrity and may consider other cruise lines to avoid losing hours of vacation doing their work for them. It was our first family cruise so, over-all this was not a good first impression.

In short, this was a great cruise. Celebrity does so many things right. We love the more sophisticated feel of the ship compared to a Royal Caribbean ship we have been on. We normally sail Silversea, but have been wanting to change things up a bit. This is our 2nd cruise with Celebrity. We love the public spaces, loved our Sky Suite... Staff was fantastic in all restaurants, bars, butler, suite attendant, Michaels Club concierge etc....We had a couple small issues and they really bent over backwards to be sure we were happy. Things happen on all cruise ships, but its how the cruise line handles the situation is what is most important and Celebrity was fantastic. The itinerary was absolutely fantastic...couldn’t recommend it more!! The fjords are amazing. Our only 2 complaints were: deck 12 sucks. We were aft (wake view), which we absolutely love but above us was the outside deck of buffet and so all we heard were deck chairs dragging. My mother was also on deck 12, starboard side and she could hear the buffet carts rolling around all day and into the wee hours of the night. Our other complaint was the food. There were 4 of us in 2 sky suites traveling together. We thought the food was very mediocre in Luminae and Tuscan Grill. We are not foodies, not picky eaters, but it was so blah. Not bad...just blah. The only good meal we had was lunch one day in Sushi on 5. We even ordered from the main dining room menu a couple times while in Luminae....those were good, but nothing to write home about. I hope there are better chefs on other ships. We have sailed Reflection before and were happy with the food.

I would give Svitlana - bar server a 10+++ I would give Jens - room steward 10+++++ I would give Juan Reyes - waiter 10+++ I would give Jessica 10+++ also. and Diana - Asst Maitre D 10+++ Your staff make you great. Just improve the food a little - You can do it in main dining room. Why have to make us pay to a specialty dining room to have excellent food??? makes no sense unless you are just in it for the $$$. Thanks

My 3rd cruise on the Eclipse and she does not dissappoint ay all. Loved all the sea days o. This crossing, hope to do it next time in reverse.

Celebrity was wonderful as always- never disappoints with the accommodations, service, food , beverages or entertainment
