Review summary

Highlight was supposed to be VIP tickets to Open on Sunday which was signature event. 5 hour transit and 10pm departure of ship from dock caused us to arrive late and leave before the end which was very disappointing and never mentioned. We will be more cautious next time.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Specialty dining is really not worth the extra cost when compared to dining room and buffet quality food. Highlight would have to be service which is turned up a notch in specialty dining. Food from all venues was excellent. Problems with premium drink package, several drinks in package were not available causing one to pay an up charge to get what they did have. Disappointing.

Similar layout and design as other Solstice-class ships which is really nice as you know what to expect.

Nothing special to see and do in Dublin. Celebrity shuttle to Dublin came at an additional cost and the wait for the shuttle back to the ship was excessive.

Concierge on celebrity refused to help me make tee times or do logistics to get to golf courses in cork Waterford or Liverpool. What is the point of a concierge who will not help? Head excursion person from celebrity confirmed that “there is no interest from our guests in golf” but this cruise had 500 people who went to the British open, so this just reflects that celebrity only provides pre packaged overpriced excursions. Concierge assaistance wss less than nothing and was a joke. Shame shame. 3rd tier hotel management
